The Ministry of Health has revealed its two-stage plan of evaluation of the national healthcare system ESY’s staff that is to enter the government mobility scheme.

During the first phase it will be determined who will remain at their post, while in the second phase the mobile staff will be allocated to hospitals and health centers as needed. According to “Ta Nea”, there will be a point-system to determine the future employment of 1,618 employees who are to enter the mobility scheme.

The point-system takes into consideration the employee’s skills, such as foreign languages and higher education degrees, as well as if written exams were taken to enter the public sector. Those who collect the most points will have priority choice of where they want to be transferred.
