A 19-year-old British tourist was killed during a brawl between tourists in Malia, Crete at around 3:30 am on Tuesday.
According to information of the Athens News Agency, the 19-year-old was stabbed with a knife or sharp object during a brawl between two groups of British tourists. Both groups were out parting in town and had consumed large quantities of alcohol.
At the sight of the 19-year-old bleeding on the pavement both groups abandoned him. An ambulance rushed the unfortunate 19-year-old to the hospital, however it was too late and he was declared dead on arrival.
The police managed to locate the groups of tourists and arrested another 19-year-old British man as a suspect. Further investigation suggests that the two particular groups of tourists had been causing trouble.
