The Deputy Minister for Public Radio and Television Pantelis Kapsis was invited to SKAI TV’s morning chat show, were he revealed his intentions regarding the public radio and television.
Mr. Kapsis explained that he is still being updated on the relevant issues, but that he has also began taking action to solve the problem. To this end he has arranged to meet with ERT employees.
While the Deputy Minister admitted that there was some planning for a transition broadcasting service, he avoided getting into any details. He did announce that the new public broadcaster would be “on air” in about three months.
