The former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dora Bakoyanni spoke to VIMA 99.5 about the latest developments and government crisis.
Mrs. Bakoyanni revealed that she was against the idea of earl elections, but in favor of a cabinet reshuffle with the participation of PASOK and DIMAR presidents Evangelos Venizelos and Fotis Kouvelis. According to Mrs. Bakoyanni all three parties must overcome their differences and live up to their responsibilities.
The politician added that the government must go through with the reforms and that the Minister of Labor Antonis Manitakis, among others, was responsible for the delays in public sector dismissals.
Regarding ERT, Mrs. Bakoyanni explained that “the solution must be realistic” and that “the Greek people’s sacrifices must not go to waste. There is no alternative proposal for governing the country”.
