A custody battle between a couple in Thessaloniki resulted in tragedy, as the 46-year-old father is accused of running over and critically injuring his 45-year-old estranged wife in front of their underage child.
The tragedy took place on Sunday at the Lagathikia district in Thessaloniki. The 46-year-old took the 45-year-old woman to the Zagliveri Health Center, but was later transferred to the ICU of AHEPA hospital for treatment.
It appears that the 46-year-old attempted to run off with his child in the truck and during the escape knocked and ran over the 45-year-old estranged wife and mother of his child. The police are still looking for the suspect, who disappeared after taking her to the hospital.
