The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will visit Thessaloniki on Sunday the 9th of June, in order to speak at New Democracy’s pre-congress. The event will begin on Friday, with the first two days dedicated to meetings with municipal authorities, while on Saturday the focus will be on national issues.

On the third day of the event, aside from Mr. Samaras’ speech, the secretary of New Democracy’s Political Committee Manolis Kefalogiannis and the President of ONNED’s Executive office Andreas Papamimikos will give a speech and present their findings from the meetings with local bodies.

The head of New Democracy’s Organizational Office Giorgos Louloudakis visited Thessaloniki, where he met the president of the party’s Governing Committee Minas Smantzidis, local unionists and trade representatives.

The elections for the new ONNED president will take place on the 26th of May, while the representation of the party’s regional organization will take place at the party conference on the 16th of June.
