The president of the DEI worker union (GENOP-DEI) Nikos Fotopoulos is testifying today, over his alleged implication in a series of frauds that was noted in the worker’s union.

Nikos Fotopoulos faces the felony charges of damaging DEI by participating in issuing fraudulent and overpriced invoices and the management of GENOP-DEI’s social activities organization.

Fotopoulos claimed that “if they find even one euro in an account or purchase, I won’t quit, I will commit suicide”, in response to the accusations of “spending millions” and damaging DEI. The investigation came after the inspector of Public Administration Rakintzis requested the intervention of SDOE.
