The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has arranged a meeting with the Minister of Finances Giannis Stournaras with his financial staff and the Governor of the Bank of Greece Giorgos Provopoulos.
At the top of the Prime Minister’s agenda are the repercussions of the Cypriot crisis and the extent to which they can affect the Greek banking system. This meeting came after yesterday’s late-night long discussions at the Ministry of Finances on the upcoming visit of the troika representatives and the negotiations that will take place.
