The Federation of Secondary School Teachers (OLME) has organized a protest at noon on Saturday the 2nd of March outside the Propylaea. A concert from students of the Attica music schools will follow at 2pm at Syntagma Square.
The Federation demands solutions to the many problems faced by students, pointing out that most schools do not have heating oil, money in the committee treasuries, while many schools also face staffing issues. The Federation also brought up the serious problem of malnutrition, which has escalated in recent times.
The teacher’s federation also considers extending the teaching hours and demands that the “Athina” plan for higher education be abandoned.
