Ousted PASOK MPs Skandalidis, Koutsoukos, Kassis and Gerekou return

PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos is expected to send the President of Parliament a letter requesting that MPs Skandalidis, Koutsoukos, Kassis and Gerekou be integrated in PASOK’s parliamentary team. It should be noted that the four independent MPs joined their local PASOK organization and actively took part in the party’s pre-convention procedures.

Mrs. Gerekou issued a statement regarding her return, claiming she “never left the Movement” and that she intends to “contribute to the discussion for restituting the [political] space that extends from the reformation center to the progressive left”.
