The police have recovered a number of items from an apartment at Tourkovounia in Galatsi, which appears to have been rented out by Dimitris Politis, who was arrested for the double robbery in Velvento.
The items recovered:
- Ten fake identity cards, including the one used to rent the apartment
- One genuine identity card
- Five USB flash drives
- Hand notes with full identity details of citizens
- Hand notes for the assembly of explosive devices.
- Other documents with coded phrases used in encrypted communications
- Mobile phones and SIM cards
- One assault rifle round
- Clothing, backpacks and one empty guitar case
- Keys and weapon maintenance equipment
