Opposition parties, such as ANEL, have reacted to the French President’s visit in Athens, claiming that the visit was for business purposes.

ANEL MP and parliamentary representative Mr. Notis Marias stated that “instead of Mr. Samaras demanding that Mr. Hollande wipe the shameful debt, he paved the way so that after Mrs. Merkel and her buddies have got their hands on the country’s silverware, French companies can follow suit”.
