The police have publicized the pictures of two men it arrested on the 5th of February in Haidari, on weapon possession charges. The two arrested men, 27-year-old Panagiotis Drakos and 19-year-old Grigorios-Lucas Haidas, both from Corinth, appear to be members of extreme right-wing party Golden Dawn. The police are currently examining the possibility that the two arrested men were involved in other criminal activities.
The police report states that the two men were stopped for a check because their vehicle did not have a rear license registration plate. During the search, the police found a Zastava pistol with four bullets, folding baton and a pocket knife on the 27-year-old, while the 19-year-old carried a switchblade, folding baton, gloves and full-face hood. Two helmets were also found in the car’s trunk.
