According to the data of the Greek Statistics Authority, the recession in Greece on the last trimester of 2012 was estimated to be 6%. The absolute div for the GDP was 40.625 billion euros, with the 2012 total dropping to 166.403 billion euros.

As evident by the data, during 2012 the economy shrunk consistently at least by 6%; in the first trimester the GDP shrunk by 6.6%, in the second 6.4% and the third by 6.7% again. The ELSTAT estimations for the GDP have been updated with the most recent divs of the general government and the latest estimations on short-term indexes. The full ELSTAT report is available here.
