The courts announced today that the trial of the SPF (Synomosia Pyrinon tis Fotias – Conspiracy of Fire Cells) members has been postponed until Friday the 15th of February, at the request of Giannis Mihailidis’ court-appointed lawyers. The lawyers have requested the extra time in order to be updated on the charges and to prepare for the trial.
Mr. Mihailidis was appointed lawyers because he appeared in court on his own, refusing to acknowledge the legal proceedings. The 25-year-old defendant is also known as the “Syntagma Square Archer” and was recently apprehended after a double robbery in Velvedo of Kozani.
