On Saturday, the Minister of Finances G. Stournaras participated in a meeting with the PM about civil servants and necessary moves in order to collect the next installment. Mr. Stournaras also commented on the protests of farmers and maritime workers, accusing KKE and SYRIZA of harboring “old school political attitudes”.
The communist party issued a stern response, stating that “the living conditions of the workers and the people are an old school political attitude. Unemployment, poverty, taxes, mobilization and riot police. That is what you defend and how you defend it. KKE is against you, on the side of the workers, the young and all the people.
