Tax of OPAP winnings to change

The Ministry of Finances plans to pass a law in order to change the tax rate for OPAP winnings.

For winnings up to 100 euros, the new tax rate is 0%. For winnings between 100 and 500 euros the tax rate is 15%, while for winnings beyond 500 euros, the tax rate is 20%.

According a statement by the Ministry of Finances, the decision was approves by the European Commission.
