The metro services resume operations just after 14:00, with the Athens – Piraeus line and tram resuming at 15:00. Due to the problems faced from the extended strike, the weekend time-table will be in effect.
The strike was broken up on Thursday, following a police intervention at the central depot in Sepolia. Mobilization orders were later delivered to the employees. Due to the extended strike, there was a set number of security and maintenance checks required before operation could resume.
