Ο οίκος αξιολόγησης Fitch υποβάθμισε την πιστοληπτική αξιολόγηση της Κύπρου κατά δύο βαθμίδες από «BB-» σε «B» με αρνητικές προοπτικές επικαλούμενη την μεγαλύτερη από όσο προέβλεπε ο οίκος στήριξη που θα χρειαστούν οι τράπεζες της χώρας.
