Stavros Psomiadis, son of Makis Psomiadis, has been granted bail, according to a decree of the Athens Misdemeanor Council. Stavros Psomiadis was held at the 6th wing of Korydallos prison on charges of participation in a money laundering scheme via AEK F.C. accounts that his father set up.
The prosecution is basing its case against Stavros Psomiadis, on the support he gave to his father, who is held on charges of felony-level embezzlement of funds from AEK F.C. bank accounts.
The judicial council set bail at 30,000 euros; however Mr. Psomiadis’ lawyer maintains his client’s innocence.
