State electrical company DEI has announced that it has expanded the categories of customers who are qualify for the social home tariff, while at the same time increased the discount from 30% to 42%. In an interview on SKAI TV, DEI’s communications consultant I. Papazoglou explained that people requiring mechanical support are also beneficiaries.
Mr. Papazoglou also explained that the tariff was designed for people with a low annual income of up to 12,000 euros (plus 3,000 euros per child, long-term unemployed and people with over 67% disability). He also stated that applications for the tariff can be made over the phone (210.9298000). All is required to apply for the social tariff is a recent bill.
