The Archdiocese of Athens’ “Apostoli” charity has sent medicine to the uninsured and elderly of the Annousakio Foundation. The charity’s general manager Konstantinos Dimtsa was accompanied by Medical Association of Athens Giorgos Patoulis, Metropolitan bishop Amphilochios and their partners.

This is the charity’s 8th Health Walk, which aims to deal with hygienic problems of vulnerable groups in unapproachable and distant regions of the islands and mainland. Mr. Dimtsas commented that the charity has delivered over 40,000 medications during the winter months in remote areas of Greece.

Mr. Dimtsas further explained that “we will adopt everyone’s needs, as long as we can against a financial vortex which has trapped the Greek family and become worse in places some have forgot or don’t want to know”.
