The president of the Independent Greeks P. Kammenos characterizes last night’s vote regarding the “Lagarde List” scandal as “a night of shame for the Greek Parliament”.
Mr. Kammenos criticized the “uniform ballots that haven’t been seen since 1985 and the machinations of the college gang with blackmailing against Democracy and her MPs”, but was optimistic that “the results show that there is hope”.
The party leader further elaborated that “the people heard the truth, reacted to the manipulations and will decide for Democracy”. Mr. Kammenos then added that “democracy cannot be based on ballots designed to control a cover-up, but on the will of the people, who want to assign responsibilities to those who committed crimes against the country and democracy”.
