Businesses in Greece in the sectors of processing, tourism, trade and service are to be supported by NSRF funds worth 456 million euros, according to the General Secretaries of Investment, Industry and Tourism, Messrs G. Giannousis, S. Efstathopoulos and G. Pyrgiotis.
The secretaries underlined the program’s target to support and help fund 10,000 new businesses and create 4,000 new jobs. The support rate in between 40% and 60% of investment plans, depending on the periphery.
The program guide will be available online on the 14th of January, with investments per sector ranging from 30,000 to 300,000 euros for processing, 20,000 to 200,000 euros for tourism and 20,000 to 100,000 for trade and services.
The submission of proposals will be done exclusively online, via the www.epedyseis.gr website, between the 25th of February and the 25th of April 2012. The costs that can be funded include equipment, premises and immaterial expenses. Those interested in the remaining stake can cover it with a bank loan or guarantees from ETEAN, the National Fund for Entrepreneurship and Development.
The sector of retail is excluded from the program, for which a separate one is being developed involving the first process of agricultural products and housing.
