Bank deposits for November 2012 were estimated to be 161.4 billion euros, marking a 408 million increase, according to the data released by the ECB on Thursday.

In most Eurozone countries with debt problems, deposits remained unchanged, calming the markets fearing a credit institute collapse. The data is not adjusted to seasons and, as per usual, were slightly off compared to the data released by the central bank of each member state. The data of the Bank of Greece will be released later today, along with the deposits of Local Government.
