Ο Τζέισον Άλντιν ήταν ο μεγάλος νικητής των Αμερικάνικων Βραβείων Κάντρι 2011 (American Country Awards) που απονεμήθηκαν εχθές βράδυ -Δευτέρα 5 Δεκεμβρίου- στο Λας Βέγκας.
Ο 33χρονος καλλιτέχνης της κάντρι μουσικής απέσπασε έξι τίτλους, συμπεριλαμβανομένου και του μεγάλου βραβείου της βραδιάς, αυτό του «Artist of the Year».
Την σπουδαία νίκη του συμπληρώσαν τα βραβεία «Touring Artist of the Year», «Album of the Year» για το άλμπουμ «My Kinda Party», ενώ το ντουέτο του με την Κέλι Κλάρκσον «Don’t You Wanna Stay» του χάρισε τα βραβεία «Single of the Year, Vocal Collaboration» και «Music Video, Duo, Group or Collaboration».
Πρωταγωνίστρια της βραδιάς και η Κάρι Άντεργουντ -η οποία ήταν η περσινή μεγάλη νικήτρια καθώς το 2010 είχε φύγει αγκαλιά με έξι βραβεία- αναδείχθηκε φέτος σε «Female Artist of the Year», ενώ με το τραγούδι της «Mama’s Song» απέσπασε τους τίτλους «Single of the Year, Female Artist» και «Music Video, Female Artist».
Ανάμεσα στους βραβευθέντες της κάντρι μουσικής σκηνής ήταν και ο Μπραντ Πέισλι -ο οποίος όμως δεν έδωσε το παρών στην εκδήλωση- που αναδείχθηκε σε «Male Artist of the Year», το συγκρότημα «Lady Antebellum» που απέσπασε τον τίτλο «Group of the Year», ο Μπλέικ Σέλτον του οποίου το τραγούδι «Who Are You When I’m Not Looking» κέρδισε τα βραβεία «Music Video of the Year» και «Music Video, Male Artist», αλλά και ο νικητής του ριάλιτι μουσικού παιχνιδιού American Idol, Σκότι ΜακΚρέι ο οποίος αναδείχθηκε σε «New Artist of the Year».
