The latest data published by Greek statistics authority ELSTAT show that the Industrial turnover index in February 2014 was reduced by 0.1% compared to February 2013, when the index was found to have dropped by 7.9% since 2012.

In the 12-month period between March 2013 and February 2014 the average index value dropped by 5.4%, compared to the index value in the 12-month period between March 2012 and February 2013. The average index value had increased by 0.1% in the previous 12-month period.

The industrial turnover index drop in February has been attributed to the 8.9% drop in the internal market turnover index and the 9.1% drop in the turnover index of manufacturing.
