Those who accuse Mr. Tsipras of trying to manipulate the media – newspapers, television and radio – are unfair.

Firstly, because the current Prime Minister knows that the judges, police and journalists cannot become friends.

Secondly, because Mr. Tsipras must be aware of how the outcome of the attempts, covert or otherwise, to manipulate the media. A lot has changed since the newspaper salesmen folded To Vima and Ta Nea inside out o protect against the snitches of the deep state.

The authority is becoming increasingly brazen. For years, since the dictatorship, methods were developed and countless efforts were made to manipulate the media. All of them failed. Even though some resorted to even using (oath-breaking) judicial officers,

And in the end, as we all know, for decades, “there are also judges in Greece”.
