About 5,350 migrants and refugees are still camped in the port of Piraeus, after 631 were taken to the temporary hospitality centers that have been set up in Kyllini, Ioannina and Pieria.
Buses transferred the families to the centers on Thursday evening, however there were some reactions and complaints from the refugees over the accommodation facilities.
Meanwhile, the federation of coast guard officers issued a statement stressing that there will be more violent clashes are to be expected between refugees, the longer they are kept in an unsuitable area.
Flow of refugees from islands declines
On Friday morning the Ariadne ferry boat transferred 27 refugees from Lesvos, while the Prevelis transferred 5 from the Dodecanese Islands. On Thursday 33 refugees arrived on board the Nisos Myconos from Chios, Lesvos and Samos.
