The Euro Working Group has scheduled a teleconference for 4pm on Wednesday, with the Greek government hoping that the discussion on its latest list of reforms will result in a restoration of funding.

The Greek government is obliged to pay out 420 million euros to the International Monetary Fund on Thursday the 9th of April, so Athens is hoping that it will receive at least 500 million euros, following the conclusion of marathon talks with the Brussels Group, late on Monday evening.

The next Euro Working Group has been arranged for Wednesday the 8th of April, which will make preparation for an informal Eurogroup session on the 24th of April in Latvia.

Such a Eurogroup may take a political decision to greenlight the payment of the next tranche towards Greece, as was the case at the Eurogroup on 1st of April 2014 that took place in Athens, as part of the Greek presidency of the EU.
