Of the three women who were arrested on Saturday after the apprehension of the fugitive 22-year-old Angeliki Spyropoulou, two have been detained and the third was released on bail.

The two women who were detained are the 60-year-old mother of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos and the 26-year-old partner of the later. The Tsakalos brothers are currently imprisoned for their involvement in the Conspiracy of Fire Cells group. The two women face the felony charge of joining a terrorist group.

The 36-year-old woman who was released was a friend and neighbor of the 60-year-old woman and argued that she was asked to hand over a bag to a friend of hers. She claims to have only wanted to help and was not aware of the bag’s content or alleged involvement with the SPF group.
