The Greek Statistics Authority (ELSTAT) has published its provisional data for the quarterly national accounts and the second semester of 2014.

According to ELSTAT’s data, the original estimation of a 0.9% rate of recession in the first trimester of 2014 has been revised to 1.1%, while the rate for the second semester has been revised from 0.2% to 0.3%.

As such, during the first half of 2014, the GDP estimated to have dropped by 0.7%.
