The millions of tourists who are planning to visit Greece over this summer will either have to rely on the Internet and television or learn Greek to keep up to date with the news back home, as the Foreign Press Distribution Agency has shut down.

The now-defunct agency was responsible for the distribution of foreign newspapers and magazines in Greece and carried about 4,000 and 20 newspapers.

A Cypriot firm is rumored to take over, but not before the end of the current tourist season.
