The residents of Kythira had shaky wake-up on Friday, when a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at about 5:56am, southwest of the Aegean island. No damages have been reported.

The earthquake epicenter was located 128 kilometers off the southeast coast of the island and was felt in Kythira, Antikythira, the south coast of Peloponnesus and northern areas of Crete.
