The Urban Transport company OSY has published a list of 77 employees who after being audited, were found to have used counterfeit or falsified documentation and qualifications in order to get hired.

The list, which was uploaded on the “Diavgeia” transparency website, stipulates that the 77 employees will be dismissed effectively from the 1st of April. Most of the employees in the list are drivers, with a few being technicians, guards, conductors and laborers.

Two of the employees have sought out interim measures to block their dismissal, claiming that their qualifications are in order and that the relevant government committee has made errors during their investigation.

Further dismissals are expected at the end of April, with rumors suggesting that up to 250 employees could face the chop over counterfeit or falsified qualifications.
