The Minister of Public Order Nikos Dendias was invited by SKAI Radio this morning to comment on the latest developments in domestic terrorism and illegal immigration.

Mr. Dendias claimed that “we disagreed with the third Dublin Regulation, according to which the country an immigrant enters assumes responsibility. We cannot be held responsible, a distribution is necessary”.

The Minister added that “the quality of immigrants is tragic” and compared “the Soviet immigrant who goes to Sweden and has standards” to “the immigrants from Bangladesh and Afghanistan, with a different culture from a different world”.

Regarding terrorism, Mr. Dendias noted that “murderers are murderers”, “terrorists first strike the weak, the unemployed and the poor” before arguing that “there can be no investments in a climate of terror”.

Mr. Dendias also denied rumors that Prime Minister Samaras suggested that he runs for Mayor of Athens in the upcoming municipal elections.
