The famous second review that ‘tortured’ Greece for almost a year has been finally ended.
Greek government, that hoped that through this procedure Greece’s financial problem would be solved at once, has realized – a little bit late – that the international dynamics were against. As a result Greek government compromised.
Fortunately it declined the scenario of a conflict and a repetition of 2015, it received the second tranche, it accepted the heavy package of its budgetary commitments and now bet on the economic stability.
Greece escaped from Grexit’s threat. The uncertainty of a financial collapse no longer exists and exiting the crisis is now a matter of discipline and insistence.
This is the big bet in the forthcoming period.
